Sandpit Sand 800kg Build Bag

Our popular sandpit sand is soft to the touch and is the same type of sand you would expect to see around most northern east coast beaches of New Zealand. Preferred by many daycare facilities around the country as it is low maintenance and economic when bought in bulk. Has long been the first choice for kids play sand by many in the Auckland region for homemade use. This sand is washed and as such is very clean.

Size: Small percentage up to 2mm, although the larger percentage is finer grade.

Colour: As it is a natural product this colour can change from white to off white. The sand is a lot brighter as it dries.

If you are not governed by the depth of a pre-made box place the sandpit sand at a depth of 150mm to 250mm, which is recommended. Ideally keep covered when not in use, especially in dry weather. Dry sandpits can blow sand around in windy weather.
